ExplanationsA rationale for every option, not just the best one, with the Good Medical Practice paragraph behind it

Why one product for one paper

The MSRA has two papers that count equally. The big question banks are clinical banks with a Professional Dilemmas section attached, and they mark it right or wrong. The paper does not work like that: each option earns marks by how close you put it to the key, so a near miss keeps most of the marks and the thing to practise is the ordering, not the single best answer. MSRA Practice does only the Professional Dilemmas paper and marks it the way the exam does. For the clinical paper, use a clinical bank. See how the paper is marked.

Who this is for

Anyone sitting the MSRA for specialty recruitment: GP, psychiatry, radiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, ophthalmology, core surgical training, ACCS, neurosurgery and the other programmes that use it. The scenarios are pitched at the level of a Foundation doctor, which is how the paper is pitched whichever specialty you are applying to.
