Terms of Service

Last updated 12 October 2026

These terms apply to MSRA Practice at msrapractice.co.uk (the "Service"). By creating an account, using the free diagnostic or buying full access you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Techne Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14170011) with its registered office at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 7DE. You can contact us at support@msrapractice.co.uk.

2. What the Service is

MSRA Practice is an online practice resource for the Professional Dilemmas paper of the Multi-Specialty Recruitment Assessment (MSRA). It includes ten free scenarios that can be used without an account and, with full access, the full bank of scenarios, timed mock tests, an explanation for every option and a review dashboard.

It is an independent revision resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to NHS England, Health Education England, Work Psychology Group, Pearson VUE, the General Medical Council or any other recruiter, regulator or test publisher.

All scenarios, options, answer keys and explanations are original and written by us. They are not the real test questions, which are confidential. They follow the published format and the three domains the real paper assesses, but we cannot and do not promise that our answer keys match the official ones, or that using the Service will produce any particular score, interview invitation or offer.

Our marking follows the published structure of the paper (marks per option by closeness to the key for ranking items; marks per correct selection for choose-three items) using mark values that we publish on the site. The real paper's mark values are not published and may differ.

3. The free scenarios

You can answer ten scenarios without an account or payment. Your answers are held in your browser; if you later buy full access we add them to your account. We may change what the free tier includes, or withdraw it, at any time, but we will not remove access to anything you have paid for.

4. Buying full access

Full access is sold as a single one-off payment, shown on the site at the time of purchase. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Prices include VAT where it applies.

Full access runs until the date shown on the site at the time of purchase (currently 31 March 2027) and in your confirmation email. Access does not renew automatically and we take no further payments. If you need access for a later sitting you can buy again at the price then shown.

Access is for one person, the purchaser, and is not transferable.

5. Refunds and your right to cancel

Because full access is digital content that you can use as soon as your payment is confirmed, you agree that we may make it available immediately. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 this means you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel once access begins.

In its place we offer our own guarantee: if the Service is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. We will process the refund through Stripe to the card you paid with, normally within 5 working days of your request. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the Service is faulty or not as described.

6. Your account

7. Using the content

The scenarios, options, explanations, review dashboard and everything else on the Service are our copyright or licensed to us. You may use them for your own personal preparation only. You must not copy, publish, share, sell, scrape or otherwise distribute them, or use them to build another product or service. If you do, we may close your account without refund and take further action.

The real assessment is taken under a non-disclosure agreement. Do not send us, or post anywhere on the Service, anything from the real test.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but cannot guarantee it. We may take it down for maintenance or because of problems outside our control. We may add, change or remove scenarios and features from time to time, including to reflect changes in the real test. We will not remove the scenarios or mocks you paid for during your access period.

9. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Otherwise, our total liability to you for anything arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it (or, for the free tier, £25). We are not liable for the outcome of your application, assessment or interview, for loss of earnings or opportunity, or for any loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms.

10. Ending your account

You can ask us to delete your account and attempts by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we close a paid account for a reason other than your breach, we will refund you.

11. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring a claim in your local courts. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect.
